This meetinghouse has to get torn down because all of the walls have major cracks and the center of the cultural hall is about 3 feet higher than the rest of the floor.
There was a lot of liquefaction where the ground shifted and the riverbed sand came up.
I went back to a few of the places I remembered when I was on my mission in 1965. This place is call Mona Vale.
It's a very beautiful place and I remember praying here. The Church use to own it but then gave it to the city of Christchurch.
